Rogerson to Address Decision Making in an Uncertain Regulatory

Environment at Upcoming Healthcare Financial Management Association Meeting

Hill Group Consultant Scott Rogerson will present Navigating in a New Moon: Utilizing an

Objective Decision-Making Framework in Uncertain Times at an upcoming program hosted by the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).  The event on Meaningful Use, privacy and security will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011, from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Township, Pa. 

Rogerson, a Certified Information Systems Analyst, will address the challenges faced by healthcare industry leaders in making decisions during times of regulatory uncertainty that do not sacrifice organizational commitment to improving patient care and long-term sustainability.  Rogerson will guide attendees in understanding the impact of short-term decision making on long-term sustainability, as well as on an organization’s ability to respond to future regulations.  Rogerson will provide a framework for addressing these challenges in a manner that optimizes the quality of the decision and acceptance among key stakeholders.
