Christina S. Brussalis , Vice President

Christina S. Brussalis is Vice President of The Hill Group, Inc., a management consulting firm serving major corporations, governments, and nonprofits. Christina is a results-focused, public relations professional who specializes in media relations, strategic communications planning, and advocacy.
Practiced in the art of public relations, Christina helps corporate, nonprofit, and government clients build and maintain public support. She has led winning grassroots campaigns and has generated national news coverage with media outlets such as FOX News, MSNBC, NPR, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and TIME Magazine, as well as numerous local and regional publications, television, and radio.
Christina began her career in public relations in the White House Department of Correspondence during the Clinton Administration and later served as a press aide to both Secretaries of Defense William Cohen and Donald Rumsfeld. After returning to her western Pennsylvania roots, Christina led community outreach efforts for the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.
As campaign manager, Christina helped orchestrate Jason Altmire’s 2006 defeat of a three-term incumbent in that year’s nationally targeted race for Pennsylvania’s Fourth Congressional District. During his first term in Congress, Christina served as Congressman Altmire’s Communications Director and chief spokesperson.
Christina is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, with a B.A. in Political Science. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Festival Chorus of Pittsburgh and is a dedicated volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania.
