Brussalis Named to Pittsburgh's 40 Under 40

November 2003 - Chris Brussalis, President and CEO of The Hill Group, Inc., was recognized earlier this month as one of Pittsburgh's "40 Under 40" honorees.

"40 Under 40" recognizes 40 talented individuals under the age of 40 who are making a positive impact on the region's development. Initiated in 1999, "40 Under 40" helps highlight Pittsburgh as a place where young people can make a difference. Now in its fifth year, the awards are more popular than ever, and the list of nominees continues to grow.

Chosen from a nomination pool of more than 160 candidates, this year's honorees were determined by an independent panel of 10 judges, comprised of former winners, business professionals, and civic leaders. Winners were chosen based on their vision, passion, commitment, visibility, diversity of interests, and involvement in their communities.

Award recipients were honored during a celebration hosted by Pittsburgh Magazine and the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP) held at the PPG Wintergarden. Profiles of the 40 under 40 awardees were featured in the November edition of Pittsburgh Magazine
