Alcoa World Alumina

The Hill Group is pleased to showcase its current engagement with Alcoa World Alumina. Alcoa World Alumina, a division of Alcoa, Inc., extracts and refines bauxite into a number of alumina products at facilities around the world. Alcoa World Alumina partnered with The Hill Group to model the current and forecasted sales of alumina products from three plants located in Texas, Australia and Spain. To accomplish this, The Hill Group is constructing a computer-based tool to model sales at each facility. The tool, based on linear programming, will enable Alcoa World Alumina to analyze and compare revenue streams from each of its product families at each of its facilities. Upon completion, the project will deliver a custom application for modeling the business processes of alumina sales. Alcoa World Alumina will be able to use this business model as a tool to identify where global sales can be leveraged to generate more revenue. The Hill Group is excited to be partnering with a prestigious client like Alcoa World Alumina and is proud to showcase this project.
