Welcome to the first edition of Partners in Performance. This is a new quarterly publication of The Hill Group, Inc. as a service to our clients and friends. The purpose of this newsletter is to share with you some ideas and thoughts that are pertinent to running top-flight organizations. The reading is light with, hopefully, some substance that will stimulate thought and action. I hope you enjoy the newsletter. Recently, our country experienced a tremendous act of cowardice that has changed the way we live. Today, seeing the American Flag and hearing God Bless America on the radio is common. They are more than symbols however, hoisted during days of grief and call to arms. These symbols underlie and intersect with the fabric of our nation's social, economic, and political environment. Perhaps at no other time have we seen such an outpouring of togetherness with a sole mission in mind - to end terrorism. It is refreshing to see so much unity and teamwork, spearheaded by our President and Congress. We thought it was therefore fitting for our first newsletter to have teamwork as its theme. Truly, it is only through a globally united team that terrorism will be brought to its knees to make way for liberty and justice for all. God Bless America! Chris W. Brussalis
